Purple morning glory seeds (about 20 to 25 seeds). As the name suggests, most glory flowers unfurl into full bloom in the early morning. The flowers usually start to fade a few hours before the Corolla begins to display visible curling. They prefer full solar exposure throughout the day. Morning glories bloom from early summer to the first frost of fall. Choose a sunny spot, these plants need a lot of sun to bloom their best! Give them a fence, lattice or a trellis to climb up so that vines don’t crowd out other ground plants. Soak the seeds in water for about 12 to 24 hours before planting to encourage them to sprout. Cover lightly with 1/4 inch of soil, seeds should be spaced about 6 inches apart. Water thoroughly at planting. Seedlings should appear in about a week, some take 2 weeks.
